Chapal exhibits at Asia Property Show - Singapore 2008

Chapal, master developer behind a series of new landmark properties in Dubai and Ajman worth of $5,5bn, has announced their participation at Asia Property Show which has truly become an important convention place within real estate sector in Asia and the whole globe.

The recent Chapal projects will be showcased at this foremost property event, taking place on 1st to 3rd of August in Singapore Expo, Singapore.

These include Chapal Tropicals, Chapal Signature, Chapal Dunes and Chapal Corals, all located in Northern Emirate - Ajman, within Emirates Lake Towers, which is an immense 21 million sq.ft BUA master development of Chapal.

 
PRA allots P16.7M for consultants in Sangley Point conversion

The board of directors of the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) has allocated P16.7 million for the hiring of a consultancy firm to prepare the master plan for the conversion of the Sangley Point in Cavite City into an international logistics hub.

Former Sen. Ramon Revilla, chair of the PRA board, said that the winning bidder for the consultancy is expected to determine the technical, economic and financial viability of the project including its social acceptability and environmental integrity.

And it won’t be an ordinary mall they’ll be going to. It will probably be the most tightly secured shopping place in the country.

A feared detention center for thousands of dissidents during the martial law years and a stronghold of rebel troops during the 1986 People Power Revolution, Camp Crame in Quezon City is about to undergo a major facelift.

Philippine National Police Director General Avelino Razon Tuesday said the PNP had earmarked an initial P80 million for the construction of commercial establishments inside the camp, as well as for the upgrading of camp facilities.
 
NAIA T3 – World Class and Opened!

If there is another achievement that the Arroyo administration could have trumpeted in the SONA last July 28, it was the partial opening of the previously "mothballed" NAIA Terminal 3.

What should have been in use a decade ago finally opened to domestic air travel last June 22, servicing Cebu Pacific first and PAL and Air Philippines soon after. A month later, the terminal was able to receive President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from her US trip and officials showed her around the terminal.

Perhaps because the ownership issue and "just compensation" as ordered by the Supreme Court has not yet been really fully settled between the Philippine government and PIATCO, the SONA team chose not to highlight the opening of NAIA T3.
