 Boysen HealthyHome, the antibacterial paint is a product of the tieup between Pacific Paint and the US-based Microban Internaltional Ltd. Microban develops technlogies that are "hygenic coating", this kills microorganisams on solid materils.
Microban International Ltd., is the global leader in built-in antimicrobial protection, engineering durable antibacterial and antifungal solutions for consumer, industrial and medical products around the world. Microban technology can be engineered into a breadth of material including: polymers, textiles, coatings, paper, adhesives and ceramic glazes.
On the other hand, Pacific Paint Philippines is the maker of Boysen paints. Boysen, which boasts of a 70 percent market share, is considered as the leader in paint technology.
