In 1990, Charter Chemical was appointed by CHUGOKU MARINE PAINT, LTD., JAPAN, the world renowned and Japan’s No.1 marine paint company to distribute marine paints in the Philippines through company owned marketing arm MAINCOAT, INC. Later, Charter Chemical was licensed by CHUGOKU MARINE PAINT, LTD., to manufacture Chugoku Paints (1993) and to manufacture Heavy Duty Coatings (1996). Charter Chemical & Coating Corporation has established a strong relationship and distribution network throughout the country with one thousand two hundred distributors and dealers located in various parts of the country, in which we are able to satisfy the demands and service requirements of our customers. In 1991, the Cebu branch in the Visayas was inaugurated and in 1992, the Davao branch in Mindanao was established to cope with the growing demands of paint users in the Southern part of the Philippines. Today, Charter Chemical & Coating Corporation has grown as one of the country’s leader in the manufacture of paints and coatings. BrandsCoat Saver - Is a latex paint which provides elegant acrylic finish to interior and exterior walls of homes and offices. It is non-toxic, easy to apply and offers optimum coverage which is long lasting yet washable if necessary. Sun and Rain - is a self-priming water proof coating for exterior and interior concrete surfaces. It cures to an elastic, flexible, homogeneous and seamless coating, which adheres and bonds well to a clean and well-prepared surface. Due to its high elasticity it can cover hairline cracks of concrete walls. It has excellent protection against UV rays and resistance to water and atmospheric moisture. Seasons Latex paints - A classic water based latex wall finish that adds sheer elegance to your home or office with its soft and luxurious finish. It has excellent coverage, is non-toxic (lead and mercurial-free). EZ-Coat - A high quality alkyd based flat wall finish formulated especially for all interior wood works, whenever a flat finish is desired. I am having a hard time finding a dealer of Chugoku Paints for DMPI Cellsites through Ericsson Phils..Can you please email me a list of dealers/outlets of Chugoku Paints. Thank you and hoping for your kind consideration.

Good day.
i have this newly built house that i want to paint by myself. Unfortunately, i am not technically qualified to assess the readiness of the concrete and what is the best type of paint to use. i hope you can give me some advice and articles regarding the matter. many thanks report abuse

Organized in 1982, Charter Chemical & Coating Corporation began operations by establishing its first plant and office along Mercedes Avenue, San Miguel, Pasig City. The company started to manufacture and distribute decorative paints under its brand names DAVIES Premium Decorative Paints, Coat Saver Paints and EZ Coat Paints. In 1992, the second plant and office housing the Finished Goods Warehouse and Commercial Services Section was built.
