Having it all at The Manors
Friday, 21 December 2007 00:00

Have you ever been handed a brochure or a flyer for a house and lot or a high-rise condominum? If you shop at any supermarket or visit the mall regularly, you probably have. And, despite dreaming of one day buying your own home, you take one look at the colorful leaflet and toss it regretfully in the trash while wondering, when would the right one come along?

It is indeed puzzling how a large majority of the developments currently in the market are either subdivisions in provinces adjacent to Metro Manila or high-rise condominiums at the heart of the city that are simply way too-expensive when all one dream of having is a safe place to come home to minutes away from one’s place of work or business that is priced just right.

This lack of supply despite the large demand has been recognized by DMCI Homes of construction giant DM Consunji group. Drawing from their mother company’s building experience of over half a century, DMCI Homes seeks to provide the middle income market with communities that are safe, competitively priced and have superb amenities normally found in high-end housing developments.

Thus far, in just under seven years, DMCI Homes has built 17 communities and helped thousands of families move in to their very own homes and enjoy the lifestyle they long dreamed of having. One such community that DMCI Homes built is The Manors at Celebrity Place. Located in Quezon City, The Manors is designed to provide homeowners with a luxurious lifestyle minus the exorbitant price tag.

Seven mid-rise residential buildings are nestled within 8,975 square meters of prime land. A unique feature of The Manors at Celebrity Place is that homeowners enjoys free playing rights to the Celebrity Club.

Atty. Maria Elena Go-Francisco, who owns a law firm in Ortigas, jumped at the chance to own a home in The Manors. Having a stressful job, Atty. Go-Francisco said she needed to have a place that is quiet and free from the distractions of the office and yet near enough the original house she owned in Tandang Sora.

“I’ve known about DM Consunji for a long time. When I found out that The Manors was built by DMCI Homes, I did not want to look at any other developments any more. I knew that if it was made by DMCI, it’s good,” Atty. Go-Francisco beamed.

Being a lawyer with a flourishing practice means having a lot of clients and needing to meet with them even if it is after office hours. Atty. Go-Francisco says her membership at The Celebrity Club often comes in handy when she needs a place to meet with her clients.
