“We are proud to announce the much-awaited opening of the entire 18-hole golf course and the driving range facility,” said Jeffrey Ng, Cathay Land president. “This major milestone for 2008 fortifies South Forbes’ identity as a producer of “firsts” in the industry.” First Philippine IMG-affiliate. The 18-hole precision golf course was designed by Asia’s foremost golf course designer, the International Management Group (IMG). In keeping with the principles of environmental sustainability, IMG designed the whole course to take advantage of the site’s mountainous terrain and lush forests, with minimized earth movement, resulting in breathtaking views from any point in the course, especially the peaks. Precision courses reward players for accuracy and not so much for long distance game.
