Being internationally renowned for these three distinct characteristics, the Japanese aesthetic is a refreshing concept that deviates from the extravagant, and most of the time cluttered interiors of many Filipino homes.

Most Filipino homes, especially those located in the city, have a problem with space, and one response to this is the natural intelligence of the Japanese when it comes to space planning.

“The Japanese don’t have much space available. With so many people living in a city, it’s very crowded and we have to live in very small spaces like condominiums and apartments, so we know how to maximize space,” says Kimatchi. “They should avoid buying unnecessary furniture and should be more interested in space-saving items.”

An economically yet elegantly designed interior is also made possible by Japanese interior design.

“Affordable interior design and decoration can be achieved, “ says Kimatchi. A homeowner could easily cut the cost of interior designing by coming up with simple home interior ideas that are less costly but are equally appealing. Spending the right amount on the right expenses can cut the cost of interior designing dramatically.
