De Castro to lead subdivision launching
Tuesday, 22 January 2008 22:34
VP - Noli de CastroCLARK FREEPORT -- Vice President Noli de Castro will lead Saturday's launching of a plush subdivision in Bacolor town.

Regina Paz Lopez, managing director of ABS-CBN Foundation, would grace the launching of Xevera, which lies at the heart of the historic Bacolor town.
The foundation has an existing agreement with the Department of Education (DepEd) for the establishment of a school inside Xevera under ABS-CBN's Education through Multi-Media (E-Media) Program.

Among the highlights of the event are the ribbon cutting ceremony, signing of deed of donation, turnover of facilities, and indigenous festivities featuring Filipino dances and songs.

Globe Asiatique is developing Xevera. It is seen as a major development in Bacolor town, particularly in Barangay Calibutbut, where the influx of more investment and tourism opportunities are expected to boost the economy of the town.

After the launching rites in Barangay Calibutbut, thousands of people are expected to flock to the Clark Expo here for Xevera's star-studded free concert launching.

The event, which is expected to draw more tourists and investments to the Clark Freeport, is among the tourism-related events slated by the Clark Development Corporation's (CDC) Tourism and Promotions Office (TPO).

Xevera's concert launching, hosted by Luis Manzano and Mariel Rodriguez, is top billed by the country's brightest performers: Sarah Geronimo, Toni Gonzaga, and John Lloyd Cruz.

The TPO said spectators and other guests are advised to take the shuttle services that would be stationed at the entrance of Clark starting 4 p.m. The concert starts promptly at 6 p.m.

The concert will feature performances by Yeng Constantino, Ronnie Liang, Jay-R Siaboc, PBB Housemates 1st batch, Cassandra Ponti, Aegis, Imago, Pooh, and Koolchix.

Also gracing the event are the Cover Boys' Jan Avila, Victor Basa, Rafael Rosel, Carlo Guevarra, and Jake Cuenca.

Tickets for the free concert are available at Xevera and Enclave booths at SM City Clark and SM City Pampanga, Nepo Mall, Enclave office, or with real estate brokers and agents.
